Wendi Kaminski

Meet Wendi Kaminski – A Trailblazer in Veterinary Leadership and Management!
With 7 years of clinical experience as a technician and an incredible 27 years of management expertise, Wendi Kaminski has been a driving force in the veterinary field. A graduate of AAHA’s Veterinary Management Institute (VMI) and founder of the Veterinary Practice Managers of Dallas (VMPD)—an association with over 250 members—Wendi’s leadership has shaped and elevated the veterinary profession for decades.
Originally from Chicago, Wendi’s journey began with a passion for animal care, starting with an internship at the Brookfield Zoo, where she worked with dolphins, pinnipeds, and even a charming walrus named Olga. Her veterinary career took off in 1984 as a veterinary assistant in a specialized AAHA-certified practice. By 1993, she had joined RSVP at the North Texas Emergency Pet Clinic, rising to Practice Manager within a few years and serving in that role for 19 years.
Her leadership journey continued as Business Director for a group of emergency clinics before founding VMPD and serving as its board president for a decade. In 2022, Wendi came full circle, rejoining RSVP as the Texas Support Staff Manager.
Beyond her incredible career, Wendi cherishes time with her family, especially her role as a proud grandma. She loves traveling, football, and is an avid chess player! ♟️🏈✈️
