Effective date: October 16, 2026
Relief Services for Veterinary Practitioners (RSVP) (“RSVP,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) explains in this Privacy Policy how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information through reliefvet.com, the RSVP App, our recruiting and staffing services, and related communications (collectively, the “Services”).
This policy applies to website visitors, applicants, veterinary professionals, employees and contractors using the Services, hospital and clinic representatives, and app users. Additional notices may apply to particular employment, onboarding, or screening activities. This policy does not replace a separate consent or authorization required by law.
Information we collect
The information we collect depends on your relationship with us and the Services you use. It includes the following categories:
Contact and account information: name, email address, telephone number, mailing address, account identifiers, authentication information, communication preferences, and hospital or clinic affiliation.
Resumes and professional information: resumes or CVs, employment and education history, qualifications, licenses and certifications, references, skills, job interests, preferred work locations, availability, and information provided during applications, interviews, and placement discussions.
Staffing and transaction information: hospital and clinic contacts, staffing requests, assignments, schedules, time records, rates, invoices, subscription details, payment information, payment status, and service-related feedback.
Onboarding and screening information: where necessary for an engagement, tax identifiers, Social Security numbers, identity and work-authorization documents, payment or bank-account details, and information obtained through authorized credential or background checks. We collect accommodation-related information only when appropriate and permitted by law.
Communications: inquiries, messages, attachments, support requests, survey responses, and records of communications with us.
Device and usage information: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, app version, cookie or device identifiers, referring pages, pages or screens viewed, interactions, timestamps, and error or crash reports. IP addresses may indicate an approximate location.
We collect sensitive information through appropriate onboarding, screening, or payment channels for the relevant purpose. Please exclude Social Security numbers, banking credentials, medical records, and unrelated sensitive information from resumes and general inquiries.
Where information comes from
We receive information directly from you; automatically from your use of the Services; and from hospitals, clinics, references, referral sources, licensing bodies, job boards, and service providers involved in an application or placement. When you apply through a recruiting platform or submit an advertising lead form, we receive the information you choose to submit, which may include contact details, a resume, application responses, and related campaign information.
How we use information
Create and manage accounts, respond to inquiries, provide support, and operate the website and RSVP App.
Review resumes and applications, evaluate qualifications, verify professional credentials, identify opportunities, coordinate introductions, and arrange temporary or permanent placements.
Manage staffing requests, shifts, communications, onboarding, invoices, subscriptions, payments, and related records.
Send service messages, relevant opportunity updates, and promotional communications, subject to your choices and applicable consent requirements.
Understand use of the Services, troubleshoot errors, improve performance, and measure or personalize advertising as described below.
Protect accounts and information, prevent fraud and misuse, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and establish or defend legal claims.
Sensitive onboarding, payment, screening, and accommodation information is used for the relevant employment, engagement, payment, security, or legal purpose. It is not used to target advertisements. Where we obtain an employment background report from a reporting agency, we provide required separate disclosures and obtain the required authorization. This policy itself does not authorize a background check.
How we disclose information
Hospitals and placement participants. We disclose relevant resumes, qualifications, contact details, availability, assignment information, and related professional information to hospitals, clinics, and other participants to evaluate or coordinate an opportunity or administer a placement. Disclosure is limited to information appropriate for the purpose. Recipients may also handle information under their own privacy policies and legal obligations.
Service providers. Providers supporting hosting, account access, recruiting systems, screening, communications, scheduling, payments, analytics, technical support, and security receive the information needed for their work. We require providers acting on our behalf to protect personal information and restrict its use to authorized purposes. Sensitive records are disclosed only to recipients that need them for the relevant service or legal purpose.
Advertising and recruiting platforms. Advertising and measurement partners may receive the limited identifiers and activity information described in the advertising section. Recruiting platforms may process applications and resumes you submit through their services. These platforms may act independently for some processing and have their own privacy policies.
Legal and business matters. We may disclose relevant information to professional advisers, authorities, or other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, protect rights or safety, or address fraud. Information may also be disclosed during a proposed or completed merger, acquisition, financing, or transfer of business assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality safeguards and applicable law.
At your direction. We may disclose information when you request it or provide any required consent. Acceptance of this policy does not constitute blanket consent for unrelated disclosures.
Cookies analytics and paid advertising
We advertise through Google Ads, Facebook and Instagram through Meta, and Indeed. We may also advertise through LinkedIn and other search, social media, job-board, or pay-per-click advertising platforms.
Our website and app use cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar tools for functionality, security, preferences, analytics, and campaign measurement. Depending on the tools enabled, advertising partners may receive IP addresses, cookie or device identifiers, approximate location, referring pages, page views, ad interactions, and limited conversion events, such as an inquiry being submitted. Information may be transmitted from your browser or device or through server-side integrations.
Where enabled and permitted, advertising tools help us measure campaign results and show relevant ads to people who have interacted with our public marketing pages. Partners may combine this activity with information from their own services or other websites to provide measurement and cross-site advertising, subject to applicable law and your choices.
We do not provide resumes, application answers, background reports, tax identifiers, financial account details, or sensitive recruiting and employment records to advertising platforms for ad targeting. We do not upload candidate or worker contact lists for that purpose. Submitting a resume or application through Indeed or another recruiting platform is a recruiting activity governed by that platform’s practices and this policy, rather than permission to use the resume for advertising.
Certain disclosures of online identifiers and browsing or campaign activity to advertising partners may constitute a “sale,” “sharing,” or processing for “targeted advertising” under applicable privacy laws, even if we receive no money. These disclosures are subject to the choices described below. We do not sell sensitive personal information or knowingly sell or share the personal information of individuals under 16.
Your advertising choices
Use the website’s Cookie Settings control to manage optional tracking and withdraw consent. Where legally required, we obtain consent before activating optional technologies. Essential technologies needed for security and requested functions may remain active.
You can opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising through the website’s Your Privacy Choices control or by emailing info@4rsvp.com or calling 800-256-4078. We honor legally recognized opt-out preference signals, including Global Privacy Control, as required by law. We do not respond to legacy Do Not Track signals.
Browser and device settings also provide cookie and advertising controls. Choices may apply to a specific browser or device, and clearing storage or using another device may require you to make the choice again. Opting out of personalized advertising does not stop all advertisements.

App permissions and communications
The RSVP App uses device and diagnostic information to support functionality, security, and troubleshooting. Features such as notifications and document uploads may require device permissions or a file selection. Permission prompts describe the access requested, and you can manage supported permissions in your device settings. Disabling a permission may limit the related feature.
You can unsubscribe from promotional emails using the link in the message or by contacting us. Necessary service and transaction messages may continue. You can opt out of SMS by following the instructions in the message or contacting us. We obtain separate marketing consent where required. Mobile opt-in information and consent records are not disclosed to third parties for their own marketing; providers supporting message delivery may process this information on our behalf.
Retention
We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, subject to legal recordkeeping requirements. Retention depends on the category of information, the duration of our relationship, active applications or assignments, security needs, contractual obligations, and applicable claim periods.
Account and contact information is retained as needed to manage the relationship and related requests. Recruiting and professional information is retained to evaluate applications, consider relevant opportunities, administer placements, and meet applicable employment-record obligations. Staffing, payment, and onboarding records are retained for engagement administration, accounting, tax, and other legal requirements. Communications, device information, and diagnostic records are retained as needed for support, preferences, analytics, security, and dispute resolution.
We delete or deidentify information when it is no longer needed, subject to legal holds and other applicable exceptions. Backup copies are removed through scheduled backup cycles and remain protected until deletion. We maintain deidentified information in that form and do not attempt to reidentify it except as permitted by law.
Account deletion
You can initiate deletion through the RSVP App’s account deletion option. You can also request account deletion outside the app by emailing info@4rsvp.com with the subject “RSVP App Account Deletion” or calling 800-256-4078. Provide the name and email address associated with the account so we can locate it. Do not send your password, Social Security number, or payment credentials. We may take reasonable steps to verify your identity.
We delete the account and associated personal information except records retained for legitimate legal, security, fraud-prevention, or regulatory reasons. We explain applicable exceptions and the expected processing time when responding. Uninstalling the app does not delete the account. If you have a paid subscription, manage cancellation through the service or app store where you purchased it; deleting the app alone does not cancel recurring charges.
Security
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, appropriate to its sensitivity and the risks involved. We limit access to authorized personnel and providers with a business need, use safeguards for data transmission and storage, and maintain procedures for security incidents. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We provide incident notifications as required by applicable law. Report suspected account or data security issues using the contact details below.
Your privacy rights
Depending on your location, the information involved, and applicable law, you may have rights to:
Know whether we process your personal information and access information about its collection, use, and disclosure.
Obtain a copy of personal information, including a portable copy where applicable, and correct inaccuracies.
Request deletion, subject to legal exceptions.
Opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or certain profiling and automated decisions covered by applicable law.
Withdraw consent and limit certain uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information, where applicable.
These rights may apply differently to employment, applicant, contractor, and business-contact records. California residents whose information is covered by the California Consumer Privacy Act may request the categories and specific pieces of personal information collected, categories of sources, purposes of use, and categories of recipients, as well as exercise applicable correction, deletion, sale or sharing opt-out, and sensitive-information rights. The collection, source, purpose, disclosure, and retention sections above describe our relevant practices.
Submit a request to info@4rsvp.com or call 800-256-4078. We may verify identity for access, correction, or deletion using information reasonably necessary for that purpose. We do not require identity verification for an opt-out where prohibited by law. Authorized agents may submit requests subject to applicable authorization and verification requirements.
We respond within the time required by applicable law and explain any applicable exceptions or permitted extensions. We do not unlawfully discriminate or retaliate against you for exercising privacy rights. Where a requested deletion prevents us from providing a particular service, we explain that consequence.
If we deny a request and you have a right to appeal, contact us using the same channels and state that you are appealing a privacy decision. We provide the outcome and further complaint options as required by law. You may also contact the privacy regulator or attorney general responsible for your jurisdiction.
International processing
RSVP is based in the United States. Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. These countries may have different privacy laws. Where required, we use legally recognized safeguards for international transfers. Your use of the Services does not replace any separate consent required for a particular transfer.
Children and third party services
The Services are intended for professional and business use and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action, including deletion as required.
Other websites, app stores, recruiting platforms, payment services, and third-party platforms have their own privacy policies and practices. Review those policies when you use their services or provide information to them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy and will revise the effective date when we do. For material changes, we provide additional notice or obtain consent where required by law.
